If you are ever in Edinburgh again you should try eteaket, It's a lovely tea cafe with all sorts of different tea's and CAKE! It had a great atmosphere and beats places like starbucks hands down. When I was there I had a white tea, I can't recall the name but it had a taste of melons! I'm going to go back next time I'm in Edinburgh! In terms of starbucks beverages my favourite was always the gingerbread latte with a skinny lemon poppy seed muffin- tastes like Christmas!
I hadn't heard of Eteaket, I'll definitely need to stop by there. Their website is great, it makes me want to buy a tea timer. I meant to go to The Elephant House last time I was down in Edinburgh, but we never found the time. The gingerbread latte, and every other Starbucks coffee (the strawberries and cream frozen thing!) all sounds delicious, but I still don't like the taste of coffee. One day! I need to start liking it, then I can become a huge coffee snob and buy every coffee related gadget in the world. Until then, maybe I'll ask them to put the gingerbread syrup in their hot chocolate. :D
To be honest Starbucks coffee isn't that great, I just love gingerbread xD. I would buy nice coffee for the flat but due to wages I can't afford to do so xD, For now TESCO... =[
I got some Monin syrup from the Costa in Inverness, it was a little pack with nutmeg, caramel, and gingerbread as well I think. I'm planning on using it for hot chocolate. :) Yeah, coffee is so expensive. :( I can almost never afford to go out for it, so I stick with making fancy-ish drinks at home. Green & Blacks hot chocolate with frothed milk, a bit of caramel syrup, whipped cream and cinnamon = a great night in.
