Glad you liked it. Been considering doing more random info stuff on getting published, especially now I'm working with an agent and an editor. Been considering doing it podcast format, actually, but I hate my voice recorded so that probably wouldn't work. xD

Interesting, I've never tried singing J-Pop. =O

MSB - from my experience, singing J-Pop doesn't really require knowledge of the language, as most TV openings have the Japanese lyrics shown in a karaoke-style, or you can look up lyrics online. It's pretty easy to sing them once you grasp the pronunciation, though I suppose native Japanese speakers might find it a bit inaccurate.

Kitty Girl might know it natively, though. =O Which would be impresive, 'cos it's tricky to learn up here with the lack of Japanese or ESL-teaching courses.

actually thats what i do, i read the subs you get. ^^ its quite funny really. i'm really into Japanese stuff and i can talk a bit of Japanese. i would like a kimono or a Yukata ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yukata ) at some point. whats even funnier is that none of it is native to me

I never got any Japanese out of Karate except the basic numbers, can't remember any of the Japanese used for the moves. But yeah, I used to know a lot of it through Japanese subtitles in anime,  manga, all the usual stuff, but I've let my grasp on it slip, partly because I don't see much use in picking up fractured pieces like that.

I've always been tempted to go to Japan to teach English, though. Stressful stuff, and the Japanese often treat the gaijin like dirt, and I'd have to take a good course to be fluent enough to hold me own there, but I'd still love to it. I'll definitely be going there some day.

Kimonos are beautiful. <3 I prefer Harijuku and Shinjuku (I am probably spelling half of this wrong, by mind's wandering) style. Ganguro looks awful, though. xD

>.< can i just quick; say that i was wrong about me singing In Japanese.i just rove to myself that i can only sing one song in Japanese T.T typical.

back to the topic i totally agree about kimonos. also, since I'm more into the design of fashion and not the clothes, i really think its a matter of opinion about ganguro. i myself think of it slightly anther form of cosplay.

gotta luv the Lolita fashion over there and as well as the sailor uniform.

Forgive me, but a voice in my head is going "paedophiliapaedophiliapaedophilia". Someone explain?  Lips Sealed

What's 'lolita' other than a novel by Vladimir Nabokov?

You're correct, actually. xD It's a fashion style of Victorian-gothic clothing based on Victorian children's clothes, meant to make the wearer look childlike. The Wikipedia article seems to avoid mentioning it, but 'loli' is prety big in Japanese culture. As far as I'm aware, a lot of Japanese pr0n tries to make the pictured seem as young as possible, and there's a lot of it focussing on school uniforms (sailor outfits) that backs that up.

It's popular outside of the fetishist context, though, and is a highly popular and beautiful fashion trend.

Not sure about the karate terms, but the numbers are ichi, ni, san, shi, go, roku, shichi, hachi, kyuu, jyuu.

I like the gothic lolita fashion too - a couple of my friends are really into it and dress in it quite often.

I was close with kyuu

I wrote coob.  Which is close considering I was writing how you say it not how it is spelt.
