I'm English - moved to Scotland just before my 10th birthday. Came from Birmingham originally, although I'm not a Brummy. But I can't believe how much the place has changed in six years! So there, that's my backstory. ^^

Lived in Cawdor ad all my relatives (all 100000 odd of them) live within a half hour drive. apart from one uncle in swindon. As far as family blood goes it's been traced back through 23 generations of Scotland/Scottish pure blood. and a few further back of Irish blood then before that as far back as it was researched it's Scottish. As far as your Nationality I believe it to be where your born/Grow up and not your parents blood line or where they choose to call home. Wooo history |

As far as I'm concerned it's where you're born that counts, but where you've come from is interesting.
For example, my mother's side is Scottish as far back as anyone can be bothered looking.
My father's side is English, French, German, Irish, Manx, Dutch etc.etc. Mongrel family!
Furthest away relatives (I'm only counting the ones who I actually speak to on quite a regular basis) are one uncle in Texas and an aunt in Singapore.
