• karo: I've been busy doing this Summer School for Access to Uni thing.  For the past week or two I have had at least one big essay per week(by big I mean 1500 words, so not massive but still a fair bit for a weekly essay) got one due Monday this week and another due Friday

• Triss: A group of us from the LARP society I'm part of decided to put on a role-playing convention, catering to roleplayers of all types from tabletop to LARP, so we got in a whole load of traders and people promoting their groups and stuff. There's quite a big, active RP community in the north-east, so we thought we'd tap into that. So 'Nerd East' was born!

xD poor master......

i suppose it was to be expected, i mean ppl have been asking... and he's had 3 series's, counting several episodes he barely appears in. Still... i didn't expect it to happen at the end of the series again... granted theres slightly more to come. He froze two times in the episode, both times within the tardis, 1st at the medusa cascade he just stopped and the 2nd time, just as the daleks fear 1 dr more than 1 million cybermen, the dr was speachless infront of davros... granted he thought he was dead but...

It looks like they are readying him for retirement and that a new Re-energized dr will take care of Davros. Still i'm hoping for a twist that will save the tenth dr....

Yeah, I'm hoping for a twist as well...it's too soon for an eleventh Doctor! And there's been no rumours or anything about who could be an eleventh Doctor either...I hope he's good, if there is one.

I kinda liked all the spin-offs coming together again for these last episodes.

Also rumour is he regenerates into two people.  The 10th Doctor stays and the other 10th doctor is a version of the master.  Dunno how it will work though.

I noticed when i watched it, the daleks lazer only zapped half of him, unlike the usually full blown variety of getting zapped...

Intriguing. But I don't think they could pull it off too well (the actual regeneration into two, the master/doctor dynamic would work brilliantly). Though Infusion's right about the Dalek only damaging half of him... why that happened still confuses me, I was expecting the old 'restart my second heart' thing. And Karo, we did see his skeleton - but it was only one half of his chest that became skeleton, which is probably how Infusion and I noticed it.

FANTASTIC EPISODE. <3 A few minor niggles - the Doctor saying 'Bye!' like a twat, and, for Dave, the over-amount of HP references ('the Dark Lord', 'The Timelord's Secret Army') - but it was almost 100% brilliance. The amount of people, the special effects, the music, the acting (Rose managed to sort out her lisp mostly, good on her), the plot, the freakin' SHADOW PROCLAMATION, all the little tie-ins t the bees and smaller mentions like the dissappearing planets (though no real direct Bad Wolf), the Rose/Martha/Doctor moments, Sarah Jane being all motherly (though at points completely over-emotional), Jack being Jack and the Doctor being completely out of his depth, the 'everyone believe in fairies' being done decently.... WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN.

I don't believe they're replacing Ten, he's always saying he's staying for the next serious, they're messing with us. Somehow. Messing with us really, really well...

Following the conclusion of filming for the fourth series, the 2008 Christmas special was filmed, and has finished production. After the Christmas Special, four specials have been commissioned to air throughout 2009. The programme will then return in 2010 with a fifth full series. For this fifth series, Russell T. Davies will be replaced as head writer and executive producer by Steven Moffat. Similarly, in January 2009, Julie Gardner will be replaced as executive producer (and Head of Drama at BBC Wales) by Piers Wenger. Tennant, who has played the main character of the show for the past three seasons, stated on The Andrew Marr Show in June 2008 that he hasn't yet been asked to reprise the role for the fifth series, but he will consider it if asked.[/spoiler]

perhaps... The master forced his girlfriend or w/e to shoot him with his telepathy we know that.
Maybe rather than 2 dr's, the master has his so called last laugh and manifests himself somehow through the tenth dr's regeneration and actually replaces him...

He would be the very sort of thing Rose would be afraid of, a complete change from the dr, and i can't see him worrying about *doing the evil thing* when the very man who destroyed his race is threatening to destroy reality itself...
