I can't wait for saturday!!
It is going t be the best thing on tv ever hopefully.
Unless they do actually get rid of Tennant, which t be honest would be a massive mistake, especially with a crap last line! I'm hoping he just regenerates into himself then kicks some dalek ass!
The last two episodes have been fantastic. Brilliantly written, superbly acted, and the sfx's havent been too bad either.
After the last time the daleks were in Doctor Who (Daleks in Manhatten and Evolution of the Daleks) i was beginning t get abit bored with them. But last saturdays episode reminded me why they had to come back! Especially the scene when all the past companions heard the daleks message. I have never been so excited about something on tv until that moment. And then just when i thought it couldnt get any better the doctor and rose were reunited. And then another bloody dalek got in the way, which just added t the pain they have both gone through. Brilliant!

How much hate mail do you reckon the BBC got for not letting the Doctor and Rose have their big massive reunion?  Tongue

This Saturday is gonna be the BEST THING EVER. On Monday, in school, my friend Alex was leaning on the table with her fingers in her ears in German and in English because in both of those lessons all the rest of us would talk about was the most recent Doctor Who episode XDD (She hates Doctor Who)

Apparently, I'm going to a Doctor Who thing in late July, and Freema Agyeman will be there. O_O

Oh, and I have mixed opinions about David Tennant's possible leaving. (If he is, they've kept it amazingly secret.)
Cos, I mean, he's had his time, he's been the Doctor for three seasons now.
But then again, the other half of my mind is thinking there's a REASON for that - because he pretty much IS the Doctor.
I don't know. D=

if he leaves it will the bbc will hold it's breath because he has been the best Doctor of the lot.  They can't give him up and have a bad doctor anymore because people might stop watching. He will be a hard act to follow and I don't envy the next guy.

I totally agree. I mean the reason he has had such a long life-line is because David Tennant is an absolute genius of a doctor. The problem is they would have to have something totally different (which is a gamble when pleasing fans) or go for someone who has a personality and acting skill identical to Tennant. Its a tricky one but my mind is pretty much stuck on the idea he wont be leaving quite yet. As you said it would have to be one of the best kept BBC secrets of all time. I spent an hour searching the web for press mentions of David leaving and there was nothing. Fingers crossed. I am glad its finishing now though, Going to India on the Wednesday after so I would have missed the finale if they had pushed the show forward a week.

I actually found a slight hint of him leaving next season.  If you like I will try find it again and post the link.  It was few days ago but thought nothing of it at the time.

Gaaahhhh. D=

I'm going to miss her. So much. D: She was my favourite companion so far (aside from Jack) - the attitude, the 'lol no, I don't fancy you', the random good-natured insults, the 'skinny boy', the imitation, the wit.

She had a good family too - I hated her mother at first 'till she started smashing car windows, but her grandad was always fantastic. Such an improvement on Martha's family. Mickey and Jackie were always awesome, though.

So much HATE for getting rid of her. >: HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE. HAAAAATTTEEE.

He could have just taken out her knowledge, but... but... her memories? ;_; No. BAD DOCTOR. BAD. (Dave: No, baby, Bad WOLF Tongue)

The episode was pretty damn good. NAZI DALEKS. <3 Good CG work, good plotline... the Rose and her 'own' Doctor part could have been horrible, the idea in its essence was awful, but they pulled it off well with a lot of explanation as to the Doctor's character.

I wasn't a fan of Davros' end, though... his position as 'pet' was brilliant, Dalek Khan was great, but... Davros' end was just subpar, and begging for a way for him to survive it. And he will, but they could have made a much better ending and still had the little escape loop.

Finding out the 'Doctor's Soul', though, was a great idea, they should have led up to it a bit more.

As for the moment everyone with their various tools of destruction got teleported into the Cruible Vault... meh. I was enjoying the 'Doctor seeing what he had created' moment, and that escape route was a bit deus ex machina. Great in that it destroyed their chances of a simple win, but still, meh.

DoctorDonna was SO MUCH WIN, though. I was already loving her previous mentions of being 100wpm, and then they USED IT. <3 MWAHAHAHAHA, TYPING HAS MEANING. And I loved her 'being' the Doctor as much as I loved the Doctor being human, her sudden rush of knowledge and absolute owning of the Daleks, going a bit psycho and making them spin around (though Dalek Leader/Red Dalek was randomly not affected, wtf?).

And K9! In a role I actually enjoyed! Hehe, he was actually really good in that moment, and it was a bit of a surprise pulling him out like that. Also, him being like EET'S SIMPLE =D.

Also, Jack was class in this episode. THERE'S THREE OF YOU? OH, YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW WHAT I'M THINKING. Best. Line. In. Episode. <33

All in all, it was a good episode.... a very enjoyable one, in fact. But I'm still bitter about Donna. >:

Hehe, I prefer Rose to Donna...but still, I'm gonna miss Donna DD=
She was totally awesome. Not quite as awesome as Rose in my eyes, but still.

That episode was EPIC. I admit, I cried. XDD But yeah...if you didn't you have a heart of stone. D:<

ESPECIALLY DARLIG ULV STRANDEN! MY GOD. The whole end bit, from where he mentioned being part human onwards, I just wouldn't stop grinning and crying the whole time. It was AWESOME. While the two Doctors thing was not the most amazing of ideas, RTD, David Tennant and Billie Piper all pulled it off beautifully - definitely my favourite Doctor Who episode to date.

Also, Jack was class in this episode. THERE'S THREE OF YOU? OH, YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW WHAT I'M THINKING. Best. Line. In. Episode. <33

Hell yeah.

musta taken a while to record it.  The scenes with two Doctors out at once I mean.

I loved the German Dalek's though.

Specially since their were German folk with me.  I dunno why that made a difference but it did.  They could have done better for an ending though.  I mean they been leading up the bad wolf thing for 3 series's and what was it?  It was a fricken Beach!!

Umm...it was the same beach as in Doomsday (series 2 episode 13)...Darlig Ulv Stranden. Which means 'Bad Wolf Bay'. They mentioned that in that episode..

Unless I misunderstood you...which I wouldn't be surprised about XDD *is dense*

Fail, Karo. MINUS 2 GEEKERY POINTS. xD

Bad Wolf was the 'end of the world', aka the last episode of the first series when Rose got power over everything - later mentions are just throwbacks to Rose and 'cameos' of something that was so prominent in this decade of Doctor Who's flagship restart. Revelant and meaningful cameos, but cameos nonetheless, because I can't think of a better word. Tongue

I know it was the end of the world.  I figured that out by the fact that when it all links together time is about to be shreded by a massive bomb.  Other than that we were still trying to work out exactly what it was and then it turned out to be the bay.

good episode... seems cruel to have done that to the dr in bad wolf bay... since we all know what the dr wants most is to settle down, grow old and die...

I too felt they could have done davros's end much better...  no doubt he probbably used the getting old Temperal shift trick if he didn't apply that to his chair then he obviously isn't as much of a genious as he appears to be.
