  • Triss: A group of us from the LARP society I'm part of decided to put on a role-playing convention, catering to roleplayers of all types from tabletop to LARP, so we got in a whole load of traders and people promoting their groups and stuff. There's quite a big, active RP community in the north-east, so we thought we'd tap into that. So 'Nerd East' was born! Cheesy

I think publicity of the store can only go with publicity of the crazy lady herself.
Yay.

Yeah, which means I can wait for news to break, or cause hype. And I don't like creating hype, if there's a chance it could become a lie. Bleh, lies.

There are a few ways I can get by for now, though. Advertise PEP through EBay, update UG's design and content, update DevianArt and SheezyArt, visit forums, create webcomics, make music. =O We'll see what I can do...

Get those Networked books written and published and there definitely will be something to create hype about. And if you don't yourself, I know I will. Cheesy

Why a newspaper? What for?

Because it is a form of media that has not been mentioned but is widely read.

I'd disagree. Aside from papers like the Guardian and Times, which probably have fairly high advertising fees, most papers stick to a sort of clique - local areas, focusing on certain cities, appealing to certain political parties. Even the big papers I've mentioned can be considered to have a somewhat 'limited' readership.

But yeah, the stuff I'd advertise isn't really suitable for it. The Network would be more suited for young adult mags, the store for book collector's magazines, whatever they are. xD

I'd need an advertising budget for that, though, and I don't have one. xD That's the publisher's job anyhoo.
