I've been busy doing this Summer School for Access to Uni thing. For the past week or two I have had at least one big essay per week(by big I mean 1500 words, so not massive but still a fair bit for a weekly essay) got one due Monday this week and another due Friday

A group of us from the LARP society I'm part of decided to put on a role-playing convention, catering to roleplayers of all types from tabletop to LARP, so we got in a whole load of traders and people promoting their groups and stuff. There's quite a big, active RP community in the north-east, so we thought we'd tap into that. So 'Nerd East' was born!

ONLY IN KENYA!
Oh joy. today I woke up and found it was twenty past three in the afternoon. That was not good. Had it been yesterday I would hae completely missed my driving lesson and lots of game time.
You see, while having completed Discworld Noir and Discworld 2 I'd never seen a copy of the pixel-tastic Discworld 1. Till my sister bought it off the internet.
Currently stuck on how to blow up the other five members of the Elucidated Bretheren so as to capture their magical gold artifacts so as to free the partially-imaginary dragon.
Yay...

Yes, you do. To pass your test, anyway, which is generally the aim.

today I got bored and read up on Graviton particles.
Because someone on an internet war game I play suggested adding a graviton cannon. So before I entered the conversation I decided to read up on graviton particles. Even though I knew what they were already lol.

It's a theory. No one knows if it exists or not. But if it does it has no mass.
The theory is that it is the cause of Gravity. Hence the name Graviton. If you can find a way to control it. Then in theory you could make artificial gravity. Maybe for a space station or something.

what?
I knew what they were. I just didn't know the complex maths and stuff behind them.
And the guy wanted to see if they could be used as a weapon so I was trying to figure out just how that would work.

I see, by creating a far stronger gravitational field, in theory, you could make people unable to move themselves, or even cause their heads to crash their tiny bodies...
No, wait, that was an episode of Futurama.
Today I gave up on this whole "Thinking of a vaguely interesting thing to write my personal-reflective on" malarky and am just rejigging the first, terrible one I wrote.

Well, today I went into town in order to buy for myself a score of Handel's Messiah.
Which I did. I also got myself three book by Elizabeth Gaskell (second-hand obviously) and am sitting reading North and South while playing music on youtube.
And knitting.

I read the book of Genesis in the bible because I was in an argument for and against the existence of god and I wanted a quote.
