  • Triss: A group of us from the LARP society I'm part of decided to put on a role-playing convention, catering to roleplayers of all types from tabletop to LARP, so we got in a whole load of traders and people promoting their groups and stuff. There's quite a big, active RP community in the north-east, so we thought we'd tap into that. So 'Nerd East' was born! Cheesy

Today was the third last day of rehearsals for Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat. I LOVE this musical. I downloaded the Jason Donovan soundtrack the other night off iTunes and I really want to see it live.

My cousin Katie MacDonald(think she still uses that surname) was in that musical once.  At the theater in Inverness(I forgot it's name Lol).

today the parts to fix my motocrosser came.

Twas a sore crash I had.  Medics told me if I wasn't careful I would be in casulty by the end of the week(by that I mean they were saying if I did not rest).  But I got through it Smiley.

Only my knee still hurts.

and my wrist

also I got knocked back by Somerfields.

They are not worthy of my skills.

Edit:  Today I also decided what to go to the fancy dress Ceilidh as.

Am going as a Biker.  Sept By Biker rules*1 I can't wear the cut-off*2

*1 Yes Bike clubs have rules...  One of them is the cut-off bit... another one is if someone who is a biker dies.  All the clubs go silent about it.  I think we are still in the silence in Scotland.  Because our version of the Hells Angels(called the Blue Angels) were in a fight with a club, and one of the members was killed(knifed).

*2 a cut of is like a waist coat that goes over your leather jacket.  It has a picture on the back of it, hand made of course(but some people don't make them hand made), if someone outside the club tears the cut-off for whatever reason... well... lets just say you will find your house looking like a scene from the first world war.  Another rule is anyone outside the club, or who has not earned the right to wear the clubs cut-off cannot wear the cut-off.  Hence why I can't.  I have been to lots of Bike rally's and am close to what you would class as a biker(even though I am not a Biker and I feel this is one of the things Ben will tell everyone at school like the Thai auntie/owl thing so I would like to say, ask Keenan or Findlay or someone who knows my family first this time  Roll Eyes) but I cannot wear the cut-off.  Plus if it gets ripped my dad will kill me Lol.

Also another word for the clubs cut-off is the club colours.

Just thought I would add an explanation their as to what it was Lol.

A rainforest came through my door.
No, not literally, but lots of stuff - I signed up for an Open University course (the school was paying, plus 10 UCAS points for completing it) on Shakespeare. And now two DVDs, a CD ROM, lots of booklets on assessment and whatnot, plus copies of 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'The Taming of the Shrew' and 'Shakespeare: the basics'

So I'm just sitting at staring at it all in wonderment...

No... but the great glenn fault line goes through Inverness.

The buildings in Inverness have been made Earthquake proof.

It's one of the theories of why the Loch Ness Monster comes from because the fault goes under the Loch and as you all should know an earthquake underwater will cause a wake on the water.

For 20th even though I am typing this on the 21st it's 7 in the morning so nothing has happened yet.

Sooooo... stayed up till 6am when Emma woke up and went to work I slept till 11ish when I woke up and wrote e-mails to everyone I thought would like the forum while adding links for themes, smiley's, game ideas ect for the forum until Emma got home.

When Emma got back I let her on the laptop and got a bit more sleep while she laptopped Cheesy All through the day I kept trying to contact Alex but he wasn't answering. Turn's out that when he went to meet steve, steve's laptop was covered in relentless. The bus they were going to get to our house went past them. Eventually at 1am they arrived. After a few hours of merry making while Emma slept we had an.. incident when Alex played a rather loud notice at his now girlfriend Denise while she slept. She wasn't best please and punched his £300 Acer laptop breaking the screen. ouch. Karma. Which meant he wasn't best pleased and has more than likely broken a few fingers in his left hand.

He's calmed down a bit but with his money worries mounting to now around £3000 debt. Things don't look too good. Everything happens for a reason.

It's nearly 8 now and everyone is getting some sleep, don't think I'll be getting any.
