  • Triss: A group of us from the LARP society I'm part of decided to put on a role-playing convention, catering to roleplayers of all types from tabletop to LARP, so we got in a whole load of traders and people promoting their groups and stuff. There's quite a big, active RP community in the north-east, so we thought we'd tap into that. So 'Nerd East' was born! Cheesy

Continuation of the only really successful topic from the old Nekro Cave...

Just say what you're listening too, favourite songs, what you'd recommends, whatever.

Newest Purchase: Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack

Current Favourite Tracks: My Chemical Romance - "Demolition Lovers", "I Never Told You What I Do For a Living"

Friends Recommend: Aly gave me a snazzy CD for my birthday with some secksay tracks like "Hotel California", "Fairytale of New York", and "Friday".

Click 'applaud' or 'mock' next to another persons name to give or take (respectively) their karma. I've been giving it to Neko, because it looks bad for the admin to have less karma than everyone else.

Yosh.And thankee kindly, MSB.

These psots are kind of off-topic. I'll delete them when... I don't know... when I feel like it! *waves flag* Yeah, I have a thing against sudden deletion.

Back on-topic, I've been listennig to 'Simple Plan' a lot recently. 'I'm Just a Kid' is now my official theme. Surrender, Perfect World, and Me Against the World are all worth a listen. Azn

Not listening to anything at the moment, 'cos I'm at school, though I doubt the librarians would mind much if I took my iPod out. As long as I don't have my kiddy RAWK too loud (maybe I could see what they think of Phantom of the Opera...).

'Taking Back Sunday' are a good band, don't remember if I mentioned them. Also, I've quickly grown to love My Chemical Romance's 'Thank You For the Venom'.

Dang, I hate school PCs. No Firefox, slow internet, filtered internet, and really freakin' cheap PCs. I miss the days when they had Macs. Macs loved me.

EDIT: XD. "Websense, a company apparently selected by the Air Force to keep the troops away from objectionable material online.". I'mma being monitered by army-approved software!
Though am I the only one who thinks it's unfair to keep soldiers off their pr0n? Come on, they need some form of comfort in the cold, war torn world. =P

Nah. Pr0ns not really suitable for schoolkids... let them get a girlfriend, get some maturity, stuff like that, then let them loose on the pr0n. That way, if they get obsessed, they'll have a girlfriend to kick them in the groin. Cure to everything, kilt kicks.
Unless they don't get a girl friend. At which point they'll probably need that pr0n.

Music... music... um, yeah. MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!
