It did so too over here in The Netherlands... We went from an exceptable 15 to 18 celcius, to a blistering 25, in just a day or two... On top of that, the air is really humid, and the classes are poorly ventilated... I guess we all will have to get used to it after the cold winter here. Though, on the brighter side, they forecast a thunderstorm (love'em, do you like them too?), and after that temperatures are supposed to drop to a less unusual 21 degrees.
Oh, I love thunderstorms! I'm waiting for one to hit nearby, apparently the sea looks spectacular in a storm so I'll be running out in it. :D It's just a shame my dog hates them.
And it hit! We're having some nice, refreshing rain, and a few great flashes. The air smells so nice outside now, and everything has turned this beautiful, darker than usual shade... Love it :)
Loved your play-by-play Roan, brightened up (or darkened up, haha?) a boring day at work. :D I'll definitely try and snap a pic of the sea for you when the light is good. I found some nice photos taken by other people: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/United_Kingdom/Scotland/Highland/Nairn/photo1330433.htm http://www.flickr.com/photos/jorgemiguel/6148515946/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/freeskiing/4424560208/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/freeskiing/3978819225/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/freeskiing/3906374066/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/craigrobertson/2061766937/
The storm's starting over here! :D dark clouds are gathering, a strong wind has picked up, blowing flower petals off the trees, and I'm sure I already heard a few rolls in the distance! :D :D :D
