Today, for their Road Trip Wednesday question for bloggers, YA Highway asked: If you could be reincarnated as any fictional character, which would it be?
Reincarnated, eh?
What about regenerated instead?
I’ve been waiting a long time for the BBC to bring in a female timelord, and I guess I’m stepping up to the theoretical plate now. Because if I could be anyone, anyone at all, you can bet I want to be the alien who can travel through time and space.
Now I can’t wait to see what everyone else picks, especially if I’m going to be joined in the TARDIS by a few other timelords-to-be!
Miss Cole says
Nice choice!
Oh my gosh, who would I be? Excuse me while I ponder :P
Roan says
I don’t know this timelord, but what I got from yourdescription, it sounds really awesome!
I think I’d be a male version of Blue, Or perhaps some seemingly nobody that’s getting his starter from the professor when Ash barges in, and then journey with him, and eventually growing into a more important role.

The timelord is from the British TV show Doctor Who. If you get the opportunity to watch the new series (first episode of new series is “Rose” with Christopher Eccleston as the timelord/Doctor) it’s really fantastic. :)
Robin Moran says
Ooo good one! The Doctor would be someone I’d love to be as well. Have my own TARDIS, travel through time… definitely a life I could be happy with.

Fantastic choice! I didn’t even think of this one! Honestly, though, I might rather be Amy Pond. She’s hands-down my favorite companion (sorry Rose!) and she had the best of both worlds–the Doctor and Rory. (At least for now. I am really, really worried about what might happen to Amy and/or Rory to end their run on the show. REALLY worried.)
E.Maree says
Amy Pond is great, and I have a huuuge huuugee soft spot for Rory. He’s amazing. :)

Aghhhh yaaaay Time Lords! I would love to be 9 – I thought he was the best one. Though I love Amy/Rory and River Song….I loved 9 and Rose :) Great pick Emma.
I posted my choice on my blog. Feel free to check it out

I don’t know that I would want to be the Doctor. Such a huge character, and all that he goes through? I’d be a companion though. :) As to whether or not there will ever be a female Doctor… I’m not sure. And I don’t think it’s a sexist thing. It’s like asking whether there would ever be a female “James Bond”–Jane Bond? It might be too radical a change… though the idea of cross-gender regeneration has never been ruled out. There have been female Time Lords (Susan, Romana, the Rani to name three), so who knows?
